Zorya Luhansk newcomer Andrija Jancic on his transition to Zorya and adaptation to the team:
-First of all, congratulations on becoming a part of our big "black and white" family.
-Thank you very much. I am very happy and proud to be here. This is a big step for me and I'm excited to start this new chapter with Zorya FC.
- How haveyou been received in our friendly team?
- Everyone has welcomed me very warmly - both players and staff. If I need anything, they will certainly help and advise me.
-The head coach Viktor Skrypnyk said that he would have individual conversations with each player. Have you talked to him yet?
-Yes, he said he would talk to each player individually. But so far I haven't had the opportunity to talk to him meaningfully, because I've just arrived.
-You've only played in the Bosnian league and in two clubs. Was it hard to switch to a new team and go to another country?
-Yes, I played for two clubs in the Bosnian league. This is my first time playing abroad, so I hope that it will not be too difficult to adapt and that the adaptation will go as quickly as possible.
- What goals and objectives do you set for yourself personally?
- As I said, my goal is to adapt to the UPL as quickly as possible, to fit in well with the team and to help the club achieve good results together.
- You have already had several training sessions with us. What can you say about the level of workload? How heavy are they and is there a difference from training camps, for example, compared to your former clubs?
-I can say that everything here is much faster. All players are strong in one-on-one situations, and the intensity of training is quite high. All of this is a big challenge for me, and I think that this environment, training and workload will help me improve as a player. I am motivated to work hard and adapt as quickly as possible.
