The author of the goal, Dejan Popara, shared his impressions after the game against Rukh:
-"It was my first goal for the team. It's nice that it helped us win, but the main thing, of course, is the team victory. It was an important game for us. We are glad to have achieved a positive result. We hadn't won for a long time, so we had to get three points to improve our psychological state.
- You've been with the team for a while now. To what extent can you say that you have fully adapted to our championship?
-I can say that my adaptation was the first three months. Now I feel that I can bring maximum benefit to the team, I want to help and win together. I feel like a Ukrainian now (smiles).
-We have alreadyplayed 11 rounds. We have not lost the last 5 matches. How would you characterize this period?
-Of course, we could have been higher in the table. Somewhere we didn't get points. For example, in the games against Obolon and Veres. The defeat against Shakhtar in the last minutes was also tough. In general, I'm sure we can be higher and fight for a place in the European Cups.
- Ahead of the game against Metalist 1925. What do you expect from this match?
-It's an interesting match against the former coach. By the way, Viktor Skrypnyk also coached Metalist 1925, so I think it will be a game of principle. Of course, we are counting solely on winning this match.
