-How was this season for your team?
-The main thing is that there were no serious injuries. All players received game practice.
We had better results in the first part than in the second part of the season. We clearly understand what we need to improve.
There were many positive matches in both parts of the season. We are working with young players, many of whom are playing in the Premier League for the first time.
Zorya has a good football infrastructure for youth development. We work for a club with a great history, and the development of young players is a very important and responsible part for us.
-The best match of the season and the game you don't want to remember?
-For us, the best game of the season was against Polissia Zhytomyr - there was a speed of play from both teams. Yes, we did not win that game, but the guys showed character, equalized the score in the 94th minute - a fighting 2:2.
We had an uncertain match with Obolon, we did not play in the optimal lineup and lost 0:1. But we clearly realized why it happened. Even a defeat is a good experience for us.
-What did the boys lack during the championship?
-Of course, young players don't have stability in every game yet. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. We work more on developing the players' strengths. We analyze team and individual mistakes.
-How close was the connection with the first team coaching staff?
-We are lucky as U-19 coaches - we work on the same base as the first team coaches. There is constant communication in our work. Also, a lot of guys
U-19 players were involved in training with the first team during the season.
-Some U-19 players trained with the first team. In your opinion, who deserves it the most?
We constantly played two-sided games with the first team. All the guys have a desire to prove themselves. "Zorya is the club where every player wants to prove himself.
-What are the plans for the U-19?
-The team will have a short vacation. We need to improve and work even harder. We plan to hold two training sessions a day. In addition, we plan to play 6-7 control matches during the training camp.
