Luhansk-based Zorya is coming to the end of its vacation period. On Monday, January 13, the Black-and-Whites will hold their first training session, and the club has not stopped working on the search for reinforcements and new players.
The new player of our team, with whom we signed a long-term contract, is 21-year-old Bosnian midfielder Dejan Popara!
Dejan started his career at Zvezda 09. He played 83 games for this team, including in the UEFA Youth Champions League (2 matches against U-19 Trabzonspor). He scored 6 goals and gave 2 assists.
He played 36 matches for Borac, scoring 3 goals. He took part in the Conference League qualifiers against B-36 Torshavn (Faroe Islands).
Dejan Popar's last club was the team of the elite division of Bosnia and Herzegovina - FC Sloga. He played 50 games for this club. He scored two goals and one assist. The vast majority of matches he was involved in the field as a supporting midfielder. Dejan was also called up to the U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-21 national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina (30 matches in total).
