FC Panthers
A Ukrainian women's football club from Uman (Cherkasy region). It plays in the Ukrainian Women's Premier League.
History
Women's football club Panthers was founded on December 3, 2014 on the basis of Uman Children's and Youth Sports School 1.
The team plays its home games at the Central Stadium with a capacity of 7,552 spectators.
In 2015, the team made its debut in the Ukrainian Women's First League and immediately won the season. Initially, the Uman women took first place in their subgroup. Following the results of the group round, Svitlana Frishko became the top scorer of this stage. In the final game of the tournament, the team led by Yuriy Derenyuk defeated the Ivano-Frankivsk Children's and Youth Sports School No. 3 in a penalty shootout. Panthers goalkeeper Ksenia Melnyk was recognized as the best player of the tournament.
In the summer of 2017, the team took part in the debut Ukrainian Women's Beach Soccer Championship and Panthers became the first ever winners of this tournament.
In 2019, Panthers set a new record for Ukraine when the team from Uman defeated Luganochka 29-1 in the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup. This game went down in history as “The most productive match in the history of Ukraine”.
