In a little over a week, Luhansk-based Zorya will play a home match in the 5th round of the championship, hosting Kolos Kovaliv at the Dynamo Stadium.
As you know, the Ukrainian championship is currently on pause due to national team matches. One of the stages of preparation for the continuation of official matches is control meetings.
Today, the Black-and-Whites played a friendly game against Kudrivka, with whom we have already played in the UPL (Viktor Skrypnyk's team won 2-1).
The clubs' coaching staffs decided to play 4 halves of 30 minutes each.
From the very first minutes, our team started playing first and creating chances.
We even scored a quick goal, but Andusic's goal was disallowed because of a handball. Pylyp Budkivsky and Gabriel Eskinha also had chances, but failed to score.
In the second half, Junior Reyes had a good chance - the ball flew near the post after his shot.
Ruan also had a great shot - just over the crossbar.
At the end of the half, Andusic had a chance to score - again near the post.
In the 59th minute, our team took the lead. Andriy Matkevych scored a well-placed shot - 1-0!
In the third half, Andusic and Slesar had good opportunities, but in these episodes it did not come to a goal.
In general, the end of the match was an equal struggle. There were moments at our goal, but the defense and goalkeeper Mykyta Turbayevsky played well.
Still, the teams exchanged goals.
First, Kudrivka managed to equalize the score - 1:1.
A minute later, Andriy Matkevych scored a double - 2-1!
And the game was put to an end by Artem Slesar's goal - 3:1!
As a result - the victory of the "black and white" - 3: 1.
